The second championship course at the Emirates was originally
opened in 1996 as the Wadi 'valley' course, but was remodelled and renamed by
six-time major winner Nick Faldo in 2006.
Faldo's trademark tees and bunkers have combined the natural rugged terrain
to create a unique golfing experience. The course is long, with many Gaff trees
lining the fairways, but there are some great rewards for those who methodically
think there way round. The Faldo has been recreated to
provide
an enjoyable but testing round of golf, and has the welcome of the Emirates clubhouse
to talk through the 'if only' stories of the round in comfort.
