The
Majlis was the first all grass course in the Dubai opened in 1988. The course
set-up is always magnificent, with each tee giving you a clear guidance of where
you want to be.
The
greens are large and undulating, with the famous finishing par 5 over water to
a large egg-timer shaped green.
The design of the clubhouse reflects a
Bedouin tented village, a large white structure which is complemented by desert
flora and fauna flourished over the past 20 years.
The
design of the clubhouse, constructed in the style of a large Bedouin tented village
is the Majlis and takes its name from the Arabic for "meeting place".
Inside the hospitality is both welcoming and comfortable, with a large terraced
area overlooking the putting green. The Majlis course is one of the players's
favorite on the European tour, and regularly attracts Tiger Woods to the annual
event.
