Stretching 7,538 yards
with four sets of tees allowing players a selection of differing lengths from
which to play, The Els Club has set a new benchmark for golf in Dubai. Opened
in March 2008 the course offers a challenging round, set on undulating slopes
of native desert vegetation with a desert links style and immaculate quick greens.
The
world class facilities start on arrival with a bag drop area and a butler to welcome
you. A wonderful practice facility with your own pyramid of Callaway balls (a
trogon theme) giving you ample time to refine your swing before heading to the
tee. Generous intervals between tee times assist in
the experience of playing the course in a relaxed setting.
The
current clubhouse facilities with first floor terrace and luxury, bars and restaurants
will be replaced in November 2009 with a new 60,000 sq feet clubhouse reflecting
the fantastic conditions found at the Els Club. Also on site is the Butch Harmon
golf academy where Claude Harmon III is based fulltime.
